The application campaign for the VII All-Russian Federation Cup 2026 has started

On September 19 (Saturday), the largest corporate chess tournament in the country, the Federation Cup, will take place in Moscow at the Izmailovo Gamma-Delta Hotel complex Congress center. The tournament among enterprises will be held for the seventh time, and we are again expecting teams of companies and organizations from all over Russia. The venue of the tournament (one of the largest hotel complexes in the capital) is especially convenient for nonresident teams. The Federation Cup will be held with a "blitz 5+3" time control (five minutes per game + three seconds per move) and a Swiss system of nine rounds. The competition will be held in a team format on three boards. There are no gender restrictions. Each team can have a maximum of one foreign player (not an employee of the organization), but there are restrictions based on the official rating (see the Regulations). In addition to a top-notch competition with highly qualified judges, the event will feature live streaming with commentary by a grandmaster, a professional photo report, high-quality awards, water, and a coffee break for participants.
