Last Saturday, January 27, a large-scale corporate chess tournament was held in the Izmailovo Moscow hotel complex. The strongest was found out by 37 teams of enterprises from 15 cities and towns of Russia - from St. Petersburg to Yakutia. The rapid team tournament (10+5) was held according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds. As a result, the victory was celebrated by the experienced team of "Sber" (Moscow, consisting of: Evgeny Kretov, Maxim Lavrov, Denis Denisenko). The silver went to the first team of VK (Moscow, consisting of Ruslan Alkaev, Andrey Kapustin, Maxim Grigoryan). By the way, in the face-to-face match in the fifth round, VK defeated Sber 2:1, became the sole leaders, but lost the advantage at the finish and fell behind by 2 team points. The third place was literally snatched by a thin one in the last round by a team from the city of Tchaikovsky in the Perm Territory - Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky (as part of: Stanislav Pelevin, Artyom Bylinin, Alexey Rychkov). The Gazprom Neft team (St. Petersburg) scored an equal number of team points, points, and team victories with the gas workers, but lost only half a point according to the Bukhgolo coefficient. Although the whole tournament, the team of oilmen fought not only for prizes, but for the first place. A small consolation for the team was the prize "For the Will to Win". In the B standings (among teams with an average maximum rating of no higher than 1350 FIDE / FSHR classic / rapid / blitz), the success was celebrated by the VNIIZHT team (Moscow), which, together with the silver medalists of the standings - the team of the insurance company VSK (Moscow), rose high in the overall standings, where they took 11th and 12th place, respectively.
