Perm State National Research University is the new Champion of the International Online Chess Business League!

On Saturday, April 22, the final tournament of the IV season of the International Online Chess Business League ended. Representatives of the 53 strongest teams met at the online chess board, following the results of industry tournaments held from February to April. As a result of a hard struggle and after all anti-cheating checks were completed, all the winners and prize-winners were determined by the organizers. The new champion of the league was a team of employees of Perm State National Research University (Perm, consisting of Ivan Volodin, Artem Polonsky, Dmitry Radostev) with a score of 24.5 points out of 33 possible. The chess players from Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg (Orenburg, consisting of: Oleg Karpeshov, Alexey Irkha, Evgeny Davydov) with a score of 23 points. The bronze medalists with 22.5 points on additional indicators were the Rostelecom team (Moscow, consisting of: Egor Kharitonov, Alexander Mityushev, Tatiana Fatyanova). Rubius (Tomsk) and Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan (Astrakhan) scored the same number of points, but they took 4th and 5th place respectively in terms of coefficients.

The next season of the league will be the anniversary - the fifth in a row. It will be held from September to December 2023.
