“Gazprom Invest” wins at the XI CHESS FEC

On Saturday, October 24, the first tournament of the 11th season of the International Chess Online Business League — CHESS TEK — was held on the Lichess online platform. Fifty‑six teams from companies and enterprises in the fuel and energy sector of Russia and Moldova competed for victory. The league debutants from Gazprom Invest (Saint Petersburg, consisting of Mikhail Rusanov, Anatoly Yashtylov, and Mark Tikhonovich) celebrated victory with a score of 27 points out of 33 possible. Only the silver medalists from the Gazpromneft Scientific and Technical Center (Tyumen, consisting of: Alexey Shinchikhin, Roman Zemtsov, Alexey Vasiliev) remained on the podium. With a score of 25 points, the team from the Gazprom Administration Trade Union (St. Petersburg, consisting of: Maria Komyagina, Alexander Vorobyov, Alexander Abaturov) rounded out the top three.
