Sber snatches victory in the Big Business Cup

On Saturday, December 2, a large-scale online chess tournament was held among enterprises - the Big Business Cup. The competitions were held as part of the V season of the International Online Chess Business League. 84 (!) teams of enterprises and organizations from various sectors of the economy from Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan became participants of the Big Cup. According to the results of the most stubborn 11-round confrontation, the first place with a score of 27 out of 33 possible points was shared by old rivals from the BEAC (Moscow, as part of: Maxim Lavrov, Timur Ismatov, Denis Denisenko) and the Departmental Protection of Russian Railway Transport in the South (Chelyabinsk, as part of: Vladimir Tambov, Anatoly Bazhin, Danil Yudin). The story of the second season finale was repeated, when the same teams also shared the first place. But as then, bankers turned out to be higher in additional indicators. Three points behind the winners were the debutants of the league competitions - Gorky Railway (Nizhny Novgorod, as part of: Niyaz Fayzrakhmanov, Vadim Taipov, Roman Sakharov).

In addition to the winners, the following teams entered the final tournament of the V season, which will take place on December 9: Tomsk Beer (Tomsk), Far Eastern Railway (Khabarovsk), Southeastern Railway (Voronezh), Sovcombank (Moscow), Department of Transport and Development of DTI Moscow (Moscow), East Siberian Railway (Irkutsk), Trust Technologies (Moscow), Southeastern Railway - 2 (Voronezh), Bank of Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek), Sodruzhestvo Group (Kaliningrad), Siberian Bank of Sberbank of the Russian Federation (Novosibirsk)
