SBER IS THE WINNER OF THE IV ALL-RUSSIAN FEDERATION CUP - 2025

On Saturday, February 1, the country's largest chess tournament among enterprise teams, the IV All-Russian Federation Cup - 2025, was held at the congress center of the Izmailovo Gamma-Delta hotel complex. 39 teams from 10 Russian cities, from St. Petersburg to Novosibirsk, took part in the tournament. The chess players competed with time control - 10 +5 (10 minutes per game plus 5 seconds for each move) on three boards according to the Swiss system (7 rounds). The winner of the main trophy was the team "Sber" (Moscow, consisting of: Maxim Lavrov, Nikita Torlopov, Denis Denisenko). Silver was won by the fourth team of the Department of Transport and Development of DTI of Moscow (Moscow, consisting of: Maxim Yakubovich, Vyacheslav Godovikov, Dmitry Zadvorny). The third place went to the Apatit team (Cherepovets, consisting of: Sergey Volkanov, Alexey Ogeenko, Denis Makalov, Maxim Yuminov), which was ahead of Zarubezhneft (Moscow) in only the third additional indicator (number of team wins). In the B standings (with a limit on the average maximum rating of the 1350 FSHR/ 1650 FIDE team), the team of the VSK insurance company (Moscow, consisting of Roman Avtushenko, Oleg Volyanik, Denis Moore) became the strongest, the second team of the Sukhonsky KBK (Sokol, consisting of: Nikolay Sorokin, Igor Lavrov, Oleg Novozhilov), the third is Gazprombank (Moscow, consisting of Alexander Zhuchkov, Alexander Herzog, Leonid Cherepanov). Special prizes in the team competition were won: Zarubezhneft (Moscow, consisting of Emil Magafurov, Nikita Yelchin, Alexey Kornilov) - The prize "For the Will to Win" Spetsneftetrans (Moscow, consisting of Robert Gabdullin, Dmitry Rakhmanov, Ruslan Gabudullin - The prize "Discovery Team", as the best among the debutant teams of the tournament.
