KDV Group wins the Big Business Cup

On Sunday, March 16, the first tournament of the VIII season of the International Online Chess Business League, the Big Business Cup, was held on the Lichess online platform. The tournament was attended by 62 teams of companies from Russia and Kyrgyzstan from various sectors of the economy: construction, transport, trade, finance and insurance. Following the results of an intense struggle in 11 rounds, the victory was celebrated by the team of the KDV Group holding (Tomsk, consisting of: Anton Shamne, Denis Shtengelov, Evgeny Deev) with a score of 25 points out of 33 possible. 24 points and the second place were won by the Gorky Railway team (Nizhny Novgorod, consisting of: Niyaz Fayzrakhmanov, Vadim Taipov, Dmitry Romashev) and the bronze medal went to the second team of KDV KDV Group - 2 (Tomsk, as part of: Vyacheslav Kalinin, Sergey Smirnov, Valery Geroyev), which scored 22.5 points. In addition to the three above-mentioned teams, 7 more teams entered the final tournament of the VIII season, which will be held on May 17, namely: Blagoveshchensk Housing and Communal Services (Blagoveshchensk), Baikal Bank of Sberbank of the Russian Federation (Irkutsk), Trust Technologies (Moscow), DOM.RF (Moscow), Department of Transport and Development of DTI.
