The victory of NIS Serbia ended the VIII International Online chess tournament CHESS TEK - 2025

On March 23, the VIII International chess online tournament CHESS TEK - 2025 was held on the Lichess online platform. 63 teams of enterprises from Russia and Serbia took part in the tournament. As a result of the intense confrontation, the NIS Serbia team (Serbia, Novi Sad, consisting of Slobodan Jovanovski, Predrag Basta, Svetozar Tsekov) celebrated the victory in 11 rounds with a score of 27 points out of 33 possible. The Serbs are regular participants of the International Online Chess Business League, and they won CHESS TECH for the first time. On the contrary, silver went to the debutants of the tournament from Nizhnekamskneftekhim (Nizhnekamsk, consisting of Alexey Dmitrov, Pavel Politov, Vyacheslav Barinov) with a score of 24 points. According to the coefficient, two more teams lost to the team from Nizhnekamsk - SamaraNIPIneft (Samara) and the Network Company (Kazan), but according to the additional indicator, the bronze went to Samaritans (consisting of Artem Lukyanov, Artem Kapustin, Dmitry Chetverov). 

In addition to the above-mentioned 4 teams, 6 more teams entered the final tournament of the VIII season of the International Online Chess Business League: Gazprom Administration Trade Union (St. Petersburg), Gazprom Processing Blagoveshchensk (Svobodny), Krasnoyarsk HPP (Divnogorsk), G STC (Tyumen), Zarubezhneft (Moscow), BESK (Ufa). The Season VIII finale will be held on May 17th.
