Omsk Plant of Building Structures No. 1 is the champion of the VIII season of the International Online Chess Business League

On Saturday, May 17, the final tournament of the VIII season of the International Online Chess Business League took place on the Lichess online platform. 46 teams from Russia and Serbia competed for the victory, which were selected in industry tournaments this spring. From the first rounds, a stubborn struggle was waged both in individual and team competitions, but at the finish the decisive breakthrough was made by the rating favorites of the tournament - the team of the Plant of Building Structures No. 1 (Omsk, as part of: Konstantin Starosek, Oleg Zolotov, Boris Berkovich). Omsk scored a total of 26 points out of a possible 33. NLMK (Lipetsk, consisting of: Maxim Trofimov, Alexander Shipulin, Ivan Morev). The bronze went to the nuclear scientists from Sarov - RFNC-VNIIEF (consisting of: Marat Suleymanov, Mikhail Naumov, Yuri Sheverdin), who scored 21.5 points.  The next, ninth season of the International Online Business League will be held in October-December of this year.
