Rostelecom has won the II All-Russian Online Chess tournament - IT and Technology Cup - 2022

On Saturday, March 26, the II All-Russian online chess tournament - the "IT and Technologies" Cup - 2022 was held. 54 teams from IT, telecommunications, science and electronics took part in the tournament. As a result of a stubborn confrontation with a score of 20 out of 27 points, the chess players of Rostelecom's third team (consisting of Alexander Mityushev, Andrey Pavlov, Tatiana Fatyanova) became the first, the silver medalists - the Russian Federal Nuclear Center — the All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics (RFNC-VNIIEF) lagged behind Rostelecom by a shelf from the city of Sarov (Marat Suleymanov, Mikhail Naumov, Viktor Belugin) and the third in additional indicators was the team from Yekaterinburg SKB-Kontur (Andrey Marchenko, Vitaly Bilalutdinov, Andrey Sokolov).

The tournament was held as part of the II season of the "International Online Chess Business League". The final tournament of the League will be held on April 16 and in addition to the winners, 6 more teams earned a ticket to it: Rostelecom-Solar, Cinimex, Rostelecom - 2, Rostelecom - 5, Rostelecom - 6 and Rostelecom - 7. Rostelecom became the "most chess" company, which fielded as many as 14 (!) national teams to participate in the tournament.
