Tengizchevroil - winner of the V International Online Tournament - CHESS TEK - 2023

For the first time in the history of the CHESS TEK tournament, the victory was celebrated by a team not from Russia. And with what a result! 27.5 out of 33 possible points were scored by the team from Kazakhstan Atyrau - Tengizchevroil (as part of: Yerlan Rakhkhimgaliyev, Serik Kenzheev, Alexey Kovanov). It is worth noting that in the second and third seasons, oilmen from Kazakhstan stopped a step away from victory, winning silver awards. And now the world's largest tournament among enterprises of the fuel and energy complex has submitted to them! The Gazprom Administration Trade Union -2 team (St. Petersburg, consisting of Pavel Rozanov, Anatoly Romanov, Maria Komyagina) was 2.5 points behind the winners and chess players from Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg (Orenburg, consisting of: Oleg Karpeshov, Alexey Irkha, Evgeny Davydov) with a score of 23.5 points.

In total, 16 teams entered the final tournament of the season, which will be held on December 9. In addition to the winners, these are: Gazpromneft STC (Tyumen), NIS Serbia (Serbia, Novi Sad), SamaraNIPIneft (Samara), Gazprom Transgaz Kazan (Kazan), Zhigulevskaya HPP (Zhigulevsk), Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky (Tchaikovsky), Slavneft - Krasnoyarsk Oil Company (Krasnoyarsk), Grid Company (Kazan), Gazprom Transgaz Belarus (Belarus, Minsk), Gazprom, the Trade Union Administration (St. Petersburg), KINEF (Kirishi), Zarubezhneft (Moscow) and Krasnoyarsk HPP (Divnogorsk).

In total, 96 teams of enterprises from 5 countries - Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Moldova - took part in the tournament. Teams that did not qualify for the finals based on the results of CHESS TEK can try to do this at the Industry Cup, which will be held on November 25.
