76 (!) teams of enterprises and organizations in the field of high technologies, science, education, IT and telecommunications took part in the personal-team online chess tournament. In addition to representatives of Russia, two teams from Belarus took part in the tournament - the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Minsk) and the Vitebsk Zonal Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Vitebsk).
The fight turned out to be stubborn both in the individual competition on all three boards and in the team competition. As a result, the first place was determined only by additional indicators. Rostelecom - 2 scored 24 points out of 33 possible ones (Moscow, as part of: Egor Kharitonov, Roman Garifullin, Oleg Pisarenko) and the Red Banner Factory (Ryazan, as part of: Anton Arsenov, Alexander Gorin, Dmitry Mashkov). As a result, the coefficient was higher for telecom providers. The bronze medalists were nuclear scientists from Sarov - RFNC-VNIIEF (consisting of: Marat Suleymanov, Mikhail Naumov, Yuri Shaverdin), who lagged behind the winners by just a shelf.
According to the results of the tournament, 15% of the best teams entered the final tournament of the V season of the International Online Chess Business League, which will be held on December 9.
