Rubius wins the Science and Technology Cup!

On Sunday, April 14, the Lichess platform hosted an online chess tournament among enterprises and organizations in the fields of high technology, science, telecommunications, IT and education - the Science and Technology Cup - 2024. 86 teams from all over Russia took part in the tournament and the strongest team at the end of the tournament was the team of the Rubius IT company (Tomsk, consisting of: Egor Pakhomov, Sergey Zapolsky, Sergey Koshevoy), who scored 25 points out of 33 possible. The silver was won by the team of the G.I. Institute of Computational Mathematics. Marchuk RAS (Moscow, consisting of: Ivan Oseledets, Grigory Zasko, Sergey Rudnev), half a point behind the winners. The third were the debutants of the tournament from Kaspersky Lab - 2 (Moscow, as part of: Denis Kachura, Viktor Petrov, Sergey Frolov) with a score of 23.5 points.
